Materials & make
Built to be forgotten.
Every SOLIS frame is assembled by hand from four materials we trust — and nothing we don't.
Japanese bio-acetate
Pressed from cotton cellulose, cured for ninety days, then hand-polished for three hours until the edge disappears.
Titanium & monel wire
Cold-bent, never cast. Twelve grams on the bridge of your nose, a lifetime in the metal.
Mineral glass lenses
Ground and polished, never dip-tinted. UV 400 on every model, polarized where it counts, scratch-resistant by nature.
Five-barrel hinges
The same hinge eyewear used a century ago — still unbeaten, still serviceable with a single screwdriver.
